Privacy Policy — Relay

1. Overview

Relay (“Relay Intelligence”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is dedicated to safeguarding your personal and technical data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Relay's mobile, desktop, and web applications, how we process that information, and the choices you have regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Waitlist Credentials: Work email address, full name (optional), professional role, and survey diagnostics submitted during early access registration or WebAuthn Passkey credential public identifiers.
Audio & Spoken Input: Audio stems recorded when you explicitly trigger the recording interface (e.g. via ⌥ Option + Space hotkey or on-screen record controls).
Extracted Action Items & Transcripts: Textual transcripts, detected task descriptions, assignees, deadlines, and dependency structures derived from your sessions.
Integration Configuration: Authenticated OAuth tokens and workspace IDs necessary to push tasks to Linear, GitHub, Notion, Jira, Slack, or Obsidian.

3. Prompt Ingestion & Tool Optimization Policy

We process user prompts and extracted task structures to operate the Relay service. In addition, prompts ingested from users are analyzed to evaluate, optimize, and create specialized LLM tools and deterministic routing routines. This engineering optimization ensures that common user intents, architectural queries, and issue extraction tasks become more reliable, consistent, fast, and cost-efficient across our product ecosystem.

Zero Data Brokering: We never sell, broker, or license your personal information or intellectual property to external advertising platforms or third-party consumer data brokers.

4. Audio Buffer Retention

Raw spoken audio stems are treated as ephemeral processing streams. They are buffered in volatile memory exclusively for speech-to-text conversion and intent classification. Once action items and transcripts are structured and confirmed, raw transient audio stems are purged from runtime buffers, minimizing exposure and storage overhead.

5. Data Security & Encryption

We enforce industry-standard security safeguards. All communications use TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. Data at rest is secured with authenticated AES-256 GCM encryption. Biometric credentials and passkey private keys are isolated exclusively inside user device hardware security enclaves (Apple Secure Enclave, Android StrongBox) and never transmit across our servers.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You maintain full authority over your data. You may request an export of your saved transcripts and tasks, withdraw from the beta waitlist, or trigger a complete data wipe by contacting us at privacy@relay-voice.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as Relay evolves. Significant updates will be noted in our Product Releases log and communicated via email to registered beta participants.
